unique rural retreat
Self-catering, holiday home for anyone wishing to experience rural life in the heart of England’s farming land.
A spacious, luxurious farmhouse boasting modern and traditional elements. There are six bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen with Aga and range cooker, games/boot room, and a choice of two sitting rooms, one with a wood burner.
This traditional Grade II listed farmhouse is situated just off the A44 on the Worcestershire/Herefordshire border; 4 miles outside the market town of Bromyard and on the outskirts of the village of Whitbourne.
Great walking countryside on the doorstep – there are 22 km of public footpaths in Whitbourne parish, making the area a paradise for walkers. Originally built in the late-C17, Moorhall Farm has been a family home for the Brodie family since 1936 and is still used today as part of the working farm.
Spacious & cosy
There are six double bedrooms offering flexible sleeping arrangements for 12 adults and 4 children with two rooms being situated on the ground floor.
Experience cooking on an Aga, lighting the Esse log burner in the lounge and enjoying the delights of living in the countryside with your friends and family.
Games room with snooker table, and hot tub hire available.
There are many local pubs and restaurants to visit; those closest to us are listed below. The Live pub at Whitbourne is within walking distance of the house; just cross Sapey Brook at the Weir near the house, walk along our field to the village road and then turn left up into the village.
Alternatively, if you fancy a take-away delivered to your door, Stephen is happy to cook you a Caribbean feast! Please ask for more details when booking.
